Welcome to Omagh Forum
Formed in 1989, Omagh Forum actively supports communities to help themselves through valuing civic participation and volunteering as vital building blocks in the community.
Membership is open to all rural community/voluntary organisations and individuals that engage in charitable activities, which help to relieve poverty, advance education and improve the quality of life for local people in their communities. The focus of our work includes promoting sustainable rural community development, networking, advocating, capacity building and good relations.
Omagh Forum aims to serve rurally based groups and individuals in the community and voluntary sector by promoting sustainability and the development of relevant projects; so that the groups can gain a good understanding of the network process thereby increasing cooperation and participation within and between groups.
Omagh Forum is funded by DAERA through the Local Rural Community Development Service for the Fermanagh and Omagh District.
