| Omagh Forums Network Meeting

The meeting is an excellent opportunity for learning new things, and just as importantly, to network with other local community groups. So we look forward to seeing you there.
Our speakers are as follows:
Gavin Boyd – Communications Lead, from The Strategic Investment Board – As well as having an opportunity to visit the site’s viewing platform which will give visitors an opportunity to see the scale and pace of the Strule Shared Education Campus construction programme in much greater detail than what can be viewed from outside the site. Also visitors will see how sharing has been built into the designs of each building and how the campus will operate when it goes live in 2028.
After the visit’s to the viewing platform he will deliver a presentation on the Strule Shared Education Campus which will include an update on construction progress, an overview of the shared education model, and the community use of the campus facilities. He will then facilitate an open discussion about the campus and provide an opportunity for attendees to look at the detailed designs for the buildings on the campus.

Jill McManus Policy & Engagement Officer for The Northern Ireland Public Services Ombudsman – NIPSO investigate unresolved complaints about public bodies, including health and social care bodies, social housing, schools, local government, and government departments.
They can investigate issues such as if a public body acted appropriately, treated members of the public fairly or handled your complaint properly. If they find things have gone wrong, they can recommend how the public body puts it right or recommend changes to prevent the same issue happening again.
Their service is free to all members of the public, independent of any government body and impartial – whey will not take sides in our investigation.
